with a slightly different python syntax
I just released a preview
Not yet ready for use
But open for comments and improvements
I'ts important to know which roadblocks are still there for releasing a new version
So please test it out :)

Arora is old :(
since my build is around 2 years old
it's not recommended for use anymore
how older a browser, how less secure a browser is
so if you use this build use it with care :)

Arora QT5 and qtwebkit2.3
I mentioned it would be possible
but sorry to get your hopes up
I looked further into it and qt5 is quite different from qt4
So it would take rewriting parts of the code
which nobody is doing :p
on the plus side there will be a new webkit for qt4.8 named qtwebkit 2.3
which will work very easy with the current code :)
but its still months away from being released (I think)
the program will still be 32-bit because 64-bit is introduced in QT5

Arora with QT5
It's been a while
I thought to give more information on the status and coming features of arora
First of all Arora's gui has not been updated for a while ,
but is still maintained by the author for compatibility
The look of the program won't change in the near future.
The underlying programs are still updated
So there are changes but you won't notice on looks :)
Currently I'm waiting for QT5 to release for a new build
Qt5 has 64-bit support so that means arora will also be 64-bit
With QT5 comes also a new webkit which means it will support HTML5
I might have mentioned i'm working on a new installer.
It's currently in my freezer :p

Qui for mplayer, WOW64 stream handling issue
I'm currently working on someone else's mplayer frontend
With the original tought to port to python 3 and make a windows version
Doing so I found this bug
Which doesn't affect Windows but PyQt and probably Qt as well
Causing the inconveniece that the program won't work on 64-bit win os
The fix is currently in progress and sheduled for win7 sp2 or later
My options are to compile mplayer to 64-bit or waiting for the fix being released
I chose for the latter because otherwise it will just be more work adding to my list
One-time builds won't do
You have to maintain it
I'm currently focusing on publishing it to linux distro's
I added the program to the cheeseshop (here)
The Python3 fork is in progress too.
I also work on bug fixes for the program
Don't feel shy to test it out
and post bugs you know on the official homepage of Qui4MPlayer
http://sourceforge.net/apps/trac/qui4mplayer/wiki
